MCC NEET counselling 2025 Round 1 final seat allotment result has been declared on August 13, 2025. As many as 26,608 candidates have been allotted MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats. The institute reporting process is being conducted from August 14, 2025, to August 23, 2025. Originally, the last date of institute reporting was August 18, 2025, which has been extended by five days. Candidates are advised to download the seat allotment letter from the MCC portal before going for the institute reporting process.

As many as 26,608 candidates have been allotted MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats. While 22,149 candidates have been allotted MBBS seats, 3,995 candidates have been allotted BDS seats, and BSc Nursing seats have been allotted to 421 candidates. The institute reporting will be conducted till August 18, 2025.
The dates for MCC NEET counselling 2025 have been postponed due to the requests of NRI/PWBD candidates and ongoing court cases. The MCC NEET 2025 Round 1 registration process was extended till August 6, 2025, till 3 PM, and the fee had to be paid by 6 PM on the same date. The choice filling and locking processes were extended till August 11, 2025, 11.59 PM. Multiple postponement of dates have made candidates anxious.

MCC has released the seat matrix for MBBS and BDS courses, which consists of 26,515 seats offered in Government medical colleges, Deemed Universities, AIIMS, BHU, JIPMER, Central Universities and ESIC institutes. As per the BSc Nursing seat matrix, there are 507 seats offered in Nursing colleges. MCC has announced the removal of four BDS seats from ESIC Dental College and Hospital, Rohini. There will be four rounds of MCC NEET 2025 counselling, which will end on October 10, 2025, instead of October 3, 2025.

MCC is conducting the NEET 2025 counselling for 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The remaining 85 per cent of the medical seats’ counselling will be conducted by state counselling authorities. The MCC NEET 2025 counselling is being conducted in online mode, except for the last round, which is the institute reporting process, where candidates must be physically present at the allotted institute for document verification and completion of the admission process. There will be approximately five to six rounds of NEET 2025 counselling, and the rounds will be extended based on the number of vacant seats.
The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025. Only those candidates who would qualify for the exam by securing the NEET cutoff marks will be considered eligible to participate in the MCC NEET 2025 counselling process. Based on the NEET 2025 analysis, the exam was of a very high difficulty level; hence, the NEET 2025 cutoff is expected to be lower than last year.
