MCC NEET UG 2025 counselling dates have faced multiple extensions, sparking growing frustration among students. Students took to social media platforms, showcasing criticism against MCC and NEET UG counselling process for mismanagement and unnecessary delays in the UG medical and dental admission process.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is conducting the counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS courses at 15% All India Quota seats across India. Students who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) examination and have applied for the counselling process have shown their disappointment with the repeated extension of NEET UG counselling dates 2025. The MCC is receiving backlash over extension of NEET UG round 1 counselling schedule on social media platform for repeated extension and NEET UG revised counselling dates 2025.
Edited to Add: MCC released the NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 provisional result on August 12, 2025. Candidates can submit grievances to MCC through email by August 13, 2025, 11 AM, after which the final result will be declared.
MCC NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result Date Postponed
The MCC, on August 10, had extended the round 1 choice filling and locking dates for the seventh consecutive time till August 11, 2025. The MCC was expected to announce the NEET UG round 1 seat allotment results on August 11, 2025. However, the seat allotment announcement date has been postponed to a later date for unforsceen circumstances.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Students Disappointed Over Delay
Several social media users who are appearing for the MCC NEET UG counselling process have expressed their disappointment with the delays.
For instances, Mohan Khyadi took to X (formerly Twitter), saying, “deeply disappointed with MCC for rescheduling the NEET UG counselling 6 times in under 4 weeks.”
What After MCC NEET Counselling Seat Allotment Result 2025?
Students who will qualify under the NEET UG 2025 counselling seat allotment result will have to complete the admission formalities and the verification of data will be done by the colleges. Those students who will be named in the NEET UG counselling round 1 seat allotment 2025 will have to report and join the allotted college, following which, the verification of joined candidates data will be intiated by the institutes.
